The Comites of Manchester and the association Mammamia Liverpool organised, on Sunday 9 November at the Mossley Hill Parish Centre in Liverpool, a workshop led by Chef Carmelo, who guided the children step by step in preparing homemade ice cream and then gave everyone the opportunity to taste it together. The activity involved children aged 3 to 12 in a calm and engaging setting, supported throughout by their parents.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families and all the children who took part in such great numbers in the cooking workshop dedicated to artisan ice cream: we even had to split the event into two sessions in order to accommodate all the registrations!

The initiative formed part of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to highlight Italy’s gastronomic tradition and the link between culture, territory and food, which from this year is being held in a more flexible format rather than on a single fixed date.
